Terms and Conditions
Comet Swimming Club operates a school Term Based booking system.
- The Term runs for a 10x week period. If during this period there is a public holiday you will not be charged as we do not have lessons on public holidays.
- Comet also reserves the right to cancel or condense classes that fail to reach a minimum capacity. Comet will endeavour to find another suitable time for the customer in such circumstances.
- Comet 10 week Term does not include the school holidays. We have a separate holiday programme running in this period.
- The swimmers swim teacher / coach will monitor their individual progress on a weekly/monthly basis. This information is available via our Customer Portal. Assessments of levels will take place at the start and end of each Term.
- If term fees are not received by the end of each Term and you have not contacted the administrator regarding the overdue account, your child will be unable to continue their lessons until the account is brought up to date. This may mean the swimmer loses their space in the class.
- 2x make up lessons are available each term for lessons/sessions that you are unable to attend. This will expire after a month. You need to cancel the booking via Udio before the lesson begins and re-book at an appropriate time that suits your family.

- Credits will be considered (at the manager's discretion) only in cases of serious medical incapacity. A medical certificate will be required.

- While every effort is made to confirm instructor's availability, the swim school cannot guaZodiacee a particular instructor will be taking a lesson

-If you wish to stop swimming please notify administration before the end of the Term. If the next Term begins and you have not notified the administrator about canceling then a $25 administration fee will be applied to your account

Parental Supervision

- The Comet Swimming Club completes with the ACC Poolsafe Requirements and has systems and procedures in place to provide a safe environment.

- Parents and caregivers do have a role to play in these procedures:

- There is no running in the pool area.

- Children must not enter the water before the instructor has asked them to.

- Children under the age of 8 must be actively supervised by a parent/caregiver over 16.

Photography

- Comet understands there are times when family members wish to take photos of their swimmers.

- Please be aware that others may not wish to be in the photo or video. Please discuss your wish to record images with the swim teachers/coaches and they will assist in advising other swimmers and parents. At no time are cameras of any description allowed in the changing areas.
